Cardio Kickboxing

Burn 800-1000 calories an hour. This fun, exciting, fast paced class is held in our bag room and taught by our expert instructors with classes starting as early as 6:00 AM. Get all the best parts of a boxer’s and kickboxer’s workout without the injuries. The Kickboxing class focuses on body mechanics, footwork, punching, kicking, kneeing and conditioning drills. This is a cross training, total body workout that will give you true functional fitness. You will look up an hour later dripping sweat and wonder where the time went!!.

Muay Thai

Saa-wei-tee-kup or “respect” in Thailand is something we like to bring to everything we do at Rampage Fitness Academy, in everything we do, both on the mats and outside of the gym. Here you will learn authentic Muay Thai from real Muay Thai instructors. Dave Roberts is our head Muay Thai instructor, a previous champion in Thailand and a UFC veteran. All of the Muay Thai classes focus on proper form and technique while giving you a great workout. In this class you will learn not only all the body mechanics, footwork, punches, kicks, knees and elbows, but also all of the defensive and counter moves. One of the things that really sets our Muay Thai class apart from the other gyms in Orange County is that we teach the Thai as well as the Dutch style of Muay Thai here at Rampage Fitness Academy.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu

The Jiu-jitsu taught at Rampage Fitness Academy is Gracie Jiu-jitsu. In the Beginning Fundamentals class we work with you step by step, focusing on giving you a solid foundation in everything from ground techniques to self-defense methods from a standing position. Our approach is beginner friendly and emphasizes proper technique and the use of leverage, not muscle. For intermediate and advanced practitioners we have World and Pan Am Gi and No Gi champions to guide you to the next level. Equally important to the knowledge our champion instructors bring, all of our instructors are very friendly, family oriented individuals that are also top tier teachers. See you on the mat.

Kids Classes

Our children’s classes focus on four things. 1) Fitness as a Lifestyle. We want children to learn at an early age that exercise is important. By starting fitness education and making it fun at an early age children are much less likely to develop diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and other health risks that can develop at a later age due to lack of exercise. 2) Respect and Character Development. In addition to making kids fit we stress the importance and necessity to be kind and treat others with respect. To be a Black Belt means to act like a Black Belt. 3) Discipline. If a child is exposed to parameters and discipline at a young age they will be more likely to succeed later in life. Setting goals and achieving them at this stage in life will help your child to grow into a stronger person. This will help whether he/she is in college making the grade or in the board room making corporate decisions. 4) Self Defense. At Rampage Fitness Academy we teach children our 3 Steps to Stopping a Bully to avoid a physical confrontation. Unfortunately, as much as we may try, not all situations can be avoided.
